WHY IS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IMPORTANT?

On the day of your wedding we are capturing history for your family. These are the photos family members are going to remember you by. The photos you are going to pass on your children and your grandchildren some day. I truly believe, this is the part of your legacy your leaving behind

Honestly, my greatest strength as a photographer is having the ability to make my clients feel comfortable in front of the camera. There's no pressure while shooting with us! I also believe you'll want piece of mind. You should hire someone that you don't have to question or second guess. Someone you've developed a relationship with over the last year. That's where we come in! We are here to help navigate you through this process in any way that we can. We are always helping our clients with vendor recommendations, engagement locations, wardrobe suggestions, and we are here to help streamline your timeline for the Wedding Day itself.

In fact, I do! I was incredibly lucky enough to attend one of the most artistic schools we have here in Pittsburgh! I graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in Photography

I consider myself a story teller. I like to capture my couple's sessions and weddings with a very photo journalistic approach. Its important for me to tell your story the way I see it. Its also very important for me to capture the raw and emotional moments as their happening. Moments that might have been overlooked.

To secure your date, a 25% retainer fee as well as signed contract from the clients and Ashley Reed Photography, LLC is required. This will ensure that your date is fully secured.

Unfortunately, we do not hold dates. In order to remain fair to everyone who inquires, we operate on a first come-first served basis. Your date is officially held once I receive a signed electronic contract and retainer payment.

Absolutely! I am actively involved in the timeline process from start to finish. We are here to help you in any way we possibly can.

We do! Along with myself, Stefan is another lead Shooter for Ashley Reed Photography. He's extremely personable, reliable, and our styles of shooting are identical!

Absolutely! I am insured, as is all of my equipment. I can send proof of insurance upon request.

I use multiple high quality professional Nikon grade DSLR's Cameras. We also use some of the best glass Nikon has to offer. It is important to us to have professional grade gear.

Don't worry, we got that covered! We own backup cameras and are fully prepared to handle a situation like this.

We do! In more ways then one. All of our cameras we shoot with have dual card slots. Which gives us the added extra coverage in case of any memory card malfunction/failure. For every photo we take, our cameras repeat the image on both cards as we're shooting. Once your wedding is over, I backup your images on two hard drives as well as backing up your images on the internet. After your wedding is edited, I will upload your images to an online gallery. As you can tell we have multiple backups from your session!

We tend to shoot anywhere from 50-100 images per hour. A lot of the time were are delivering around 700-800 images per wedding.

Of course! I edit black and white for the more emotional images as I see fit. Black and white images are truly my favorite. I strive to creative emotive black and white images.

Absolutely! In fact, I encourage you to! These are your images that we've worked so hard together to create. I want you to be able to enjoy them and show them off! My only request - Please make sure to give us photo credit and include a link back to my photography page when doing so!

Your images will be delivered as a high resolution JPEG file that has been uploaded to an online gallery where you can also download to your own computer. This is really helpful because its giving you the ability to print as many photos as you want on your own! You also have the ability to share this gallery with family & friends who can view/purchase them a la carte if they wish!
